Terms of Service

By accessing or using Dastkhat — whether you upload a document, sign one, or verify a signature — you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using Dastkhat on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

Dastkhat lets you upload documents, add signers, collect legally valid electronic signatures, and verify signed documents. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

You need an account to send documents for signature. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts.

Dastkhat is pay-as-you-go. You buy credits and spend them when you send documents — there is no subscription and no recurring charge. Prices are shown before you buy. Credits are non-refundable once spent, and purchased credits do not expire unless we tell you otherwise. New accounts receive a number of free credits to try the service.

You agree not to use Dastkhat to:

• break any applicable law or regulation;
• forge a signature, impersonate someone, or send a document to a signer without a lawful basis;
• upload malware, or content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights;
• probe, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach this section.

Signatures collected through Dastkhat are electronic signatures under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002 (ETO 2002) of Pakistan. Each signed document carries an audit trail intended to evidence who signed, when, and that the document was not altered afterwards.

Some documents must, by law, be signed on paper or executed in a specific way. You are responsible for confirming that an electronic signature is appropriate for your document. See our ETO 2002 compliance page for detail on what electronic signatures cover.

You keep all rights to the documents and data you upload. You grant us the limited permission we need to host, process, and deliver them to your signers and to provide the service. We do not sell your documents or use their contents to train models. How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

We work to keep Dastkhat available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dastkhat will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the three months before the claim arose.

You may stop using Dastkhat and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if we are required to by law. Signed documents and their audit trails may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Dastkhat is operated by DASTKHAT (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED (Registered in Pakistan, SECP CUIN 0348592).

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use Dastkhat after a change means you accept the updated terms.
