Are Dastkhat signatures legally valid in Pakistan?
Yes. Dastkhat produces valid electronic signatures under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (ETO) 2002. Our audit trail, tamper-proof records and OTP/CNIC identity checks give you strong evidence if a document is ever disputed.
Which documents can’t be signed electronically?
ETO 2002 excludes negotiable instruments, powers of attorney, trust deeds, wills, and contracts for the sale of immovable property. Everything else — employment, NDAs, vendor, rental and sales agreements — is fair game.
How does verification actually work?
We create a unique, tamper-proof record of the final signed document and store it in our registry. To verify, anyone can scan the QR, re-upload the file, or enter the Case ID. If the document has been changed in any way, it won’t match — and it’s flagged.
What exactly is a credit?
One credit sends a signing request to one signer. Uploading, preparing documents, CC recipients, downloading your signed files, and public verification are all free. Credits are deducted when you send.
